They can learn about where animals come from, what color they are and what shape they look like. They can even make masks of their favorite animal and pretend to be a lion or elephant or even a cute kitten. Or a snowman or sled for winter. You can even have them make a wreath with fall leafs or a scarecrow. All these ideas are a fun way for toddlers to understand the different seasons and the colors with each season. Calendars always make a fun craft at the beginning of each year. Your kids can mark important days, like their birthday, as well as the first day of each season. Have them decorate it with pictures and colors of each season. Do not forget to have them mark the holidays as well and plan for some holiday crafting time with your kids.
